Steam hides containers by default, therefore there is no way to scan them or their contents. So until containers are unhidden on Steam's side, they have to be manually imported using the tool.

CSPortfolio's algorithm probably found it somewhere else for cheaper, or the algorithm may have detected a "manipulated price" and defaulted to a suggested price.

If you still believe the algorithm may be misrepresenting the price, please send us an email with the item name, quality, and date of discrepancy and we'll look into it.

We have implemented a method to the best of our ability to provide comprehensive and accurate pricing data, but with how the market is, and how random pricing can be sometimes, these methods don't always work. Though we do have some guard-rails to prevent this from happening, it can not be perfect. If you believe you have some suggestions then by all means please contact us and we'll do our best to investigate.

There are usually 2 reasons for this: 1) A limit has been set on how often the profile may be searched, or 2) Some profiles are shadow-flagged as private for system scanning, preventing my system from scanning it. This usually happens to profiles that are high profile or/and have been occasionally checked by other systems.

As of now the data gets updated on a 24 hour interval. The main reason being one of the data points I fetch from is also updated on a 24 hour interval, though in the future I will probably want to make it update every few hours or so and find other ways. If you really want to push for the data to be more frequent don't hesitate to contact us and we will evaluate doing so.
