- Price Analytics: View market trends and price changes across multiple timeframes
2.2 Proprietary Technology
Our platform uses two proprietary systems:
- GillaPrice™: Our price merging algorithm that combines data from third-party market APIs to provide accurate market valuations
- GillaMetrics™: Our analytics system that calculates historical price changes and trends in basis points (10,000 bps = 100%)
3. User Accounts & Authentication
3.1 Account Creation
You can create an account using:
- Steam OAuth: Login with your Steam account (primary method, no Steam API key required)
- Discord OAuth: Link your Discord account for additional authentication options
- Email Verification: Optional email address for notifications and account recovery
3.2 Subscription Tiers
csPortfolio.gg offers the following access levels:
- Free Tier: Basic inventory checking and price tracking
- Subscribed: Full access to all premium features ($3.50/month via Polar.sh)
- Demo: 30-day trial access to premium features (granted by admins, extendable)
- Tester: Beta testing access for new features
Note: Administrative tiers (overseer, god) are for platform management only.
3.3 Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Not sharing your account access with others
- Notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account
- Ensuring your email address (if provided) is valid and accessible
4. Subscription & Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
Premium subscriptions cost $3.50 per month and provide access to:
- Full portfolio tracking with unlimited items
- Container management
- Advanced analytics and historical price data
- Email notifications for demo grants and updates
4.2 Payment Processing
Important: All payments are processed by Polar.sh, who acts as the Merchant of Record. We do not store or process your payment information directly. Polar.sh handles all payment data, billing, and compliance with payment regulations.
4.3 Billing & Renewal
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month
- You can cancel at any time through your account settings
- Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period
4.4 Demo Access
Administrators may grant 30-day demo access to free users. Demo access:
- Provides the same features as subscribed tier
- Automatically expires after 30 days (extendable by admins)
- Downgrades to free_user tier upon expiration
- Can be revoked by admins at any time
4.5 Refund Policy
Refunds are handled by Polar.sh according to their policies and applicable consumer protection laws.
5. Data Collection & Usage
5.1 Data We Collect
When you use csPortfolio.gg, we collect:
- Steam ID: Your unique Steam identifier (via Steam OAuth)
- Steam Profile Data: Username, avatar, and public profile information
- Inventory Data: Your CS2 items fetched from Steam's public API
- Email Address: If you choose to verify your email (optional)
- Usage Analytics: Visitor statistics, feature usage, and page views
5.2 Third-Party Services
We integrate with the following third-party services:
- Third-Party Market APIs: Real-time market price data for CS2 items from multiple sources
- Polar.sh: Payment processing and subscription management
- PurelyMail: Email delivery for notifications
- Steam API: Inventory data and authentication
5.3 Data Usage
We use your data to:
